JEFFERSONVILLE, Ind. — Mayor Mike Moore signed a new collective bargaining agreement on Tuesday between the City of Jeffersonville and the Jeffersonville Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #100.

The contract takes effect immediately and will expire Dec. 31, 2026. The previous contract expired at the end of last year.

“I am thrilled that we are able to finalize an agreement that is fair and equitable without jeopardizing public safety,” Moore said in a statement. “With a short-term contract, it will give us an opportunity to better evaluate the impact of recent state legislation on our city finances.”

Under the agreement, officers will receive a 2% raise starting in January 2026, increasing base pay from $66,000 to $67,320. The city’s contribution to an officer’s 457 plan will rise from 3%
