BARROW COUNTY, Ga. — A Barrow County judge denied a motion by Colin Gray, the father of the alleged Apalachee High School shooter, that would have allowed evidence to be suppressed during trial.
Colin Gray is accused of providing the weapon used by his son, Colt Gray, in the September 4, 2024, shooting that left two students and two teachers dead . Colin Gray is facing a total of 29 charges, including murder in the second degree and cruelty to children in the second degree.
He last appeared for a hearing in court on Aug. 1. During the hearing, a judge heard arguments over whether Colin Gray had voluntarily given investigators consent to search his home and his phone after the Apalachee High shooting took place.
Colin Gray's attorneys are trying to suppress that evidence. They said
