A 14-year-old boy was found critically wounded Tuesday night inside of a residence in the Roseland neighborhood, Chicago police said.

Shortly after 10:30 p.m., officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 300 block of West 106th Street and found a boy inside a residence with a gunshot wound to the head.

The boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital where he was listed in critical condition, police said.

In a separate shooting Tuesday night, another 14-year-old boy was wounded in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side, police said.

Shortly after 7:30 p.m., the boy was outside in the 2900 block of North Parkside Avenue when he was shot by someone traveling in a white vehicle, police said. The boy, who suffered a wound to the buttocks, was taken to Community First
