Housing supply is tight in Morristown and Hamblen County, but builders are moving to provide supply for that demand and the Morristown Area Chamber of Commerce recently hosted a ribbon cutting for the new Park Vista Apartments at 1934 Shields Ferry Road.

The 12 unit building is right across the street from Wildwood Park, which has a newly upgraded playground and other park features. Built by Guzman Construction, the development represents an example of renewal in the city.

“It’s been a good experience through the years (building and developing property) and we still give it the best that we can as a company,” CEO Israel Guzman said. “We have four three-bedroom, we have four two-bedroom and four one-bedroom units (at Park Vista).”
