Emil Bove, a former personal attorney to President Donald Trump and a Justice Department official, has been sworn in for a lifetime judgeship on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 3rd Circuit following a contentious nomination process.

Alina Habba, another former Trump attorney who is currently Acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey, confirmed the news by sharing a photo of her with Bove and Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche on X with the caption, "Congratulations Judge Emil Bove."
