The Boston Red Sox outfield could become a concern in a hurry depending on what Roman Anthony's injury diagnosis is.
Anthony exited Tuesday's game early with oblique tightness. If he goes on the injured list, he will join Wilyer Abreu as outfielders the Red Sox are missing. Abreu has been on the injured list since Aug. 21 with a calf strain.
He was scheduled to run on Monday, but Alex Cora revealed his injury is not healing the way the team had hoped, according to MassLive's Christopher Smith .
"He's not running (Tuesday), either," Cora said Tuesday, per Smith. "Just progressing but slowly. Not the way we envisioned when the injury happened."
