University staff issued more than 20 trigger warnings to student book boffins that gory vampire tales might be scary and include themes of “cannibalism”. ‌

City St George's, University of London, cautioned folk on its literature course that the bloodsucker yarns could be upsetting. It was accused of “pandering to a woke set of prejudices” after it published alerts over religious beliefs, sexually transmitted diseases and eating disorders featured in its set texts. ‌
