“There’s a lot of food insecurity in Whitecourt ,” Angela Young, food bank co-ordinator, told the Whitecourt Star .

“The increasing cost of rent and utilities are driving people to the food bank, and the cost of food is rising, too.

“People have to sometimes choose between paying bills and buying groceries.”
