ALLEN PARK -- Jameson Williams is entering a pivotal year.

The Detroit Lions wide receiver is coming off his first 1,000-yard campaign, entering the homestretch of his rookie contract after having his fifth-year option picked up over the offseason. Williams is also established as the team’s WR2 behind Amon-Ra St. Brown after delivering on his electric potential last season, and has a vital role in the offense as one of the NFL’s top deep threats.

Williams, 24, caught 58 passes for 1,001 yards and seven touchdowns, leading the league among those with at least 40 catches with his 17.3-yard per catch average.
