The grandmother of an 11-year-old who gave birth to her stepfather’s baby has been charged after the girl and her five siblings were rescued from “deplorable conditions”.

She is the third person to face court over the horrific case of alleged child abuse, along with the girl’s mother Cherie Walker and Cherie’s husband, Dustin.

The Oklahoma girl gave birth at home on August 16, with authorities only alerted to the case after she was taken to hospital.

It is understood the girl had not seen a doctor in more than a year and had no prenatal care.

Before her arrest on Friday, grandmother Michelle Justus claimed the family knew nothing of the girl’s pregnancy.
