BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A Buffalo man was indicted on multiple charges Tuesday morning after he allegedly tried to kill his girlfriend in an attack with a shovel in July, the Erie County District Attorney's Office announced.
Officials said at 8:14 p.m. on July 31, 31-year-old Julian Taylor and his girlfriend had a verbal dispute outside of their shared residence on Greene Street in Buffalo.
During the argument, Taylor allegedly hit his girlfriend with his hands, which is when she fell onto the ground in the driveway. Officials said Taylor intentionally caused serious physical injuries to his girlfriend with the shovel, in which he reportedly hit her multiple times in the head and body before a witness intervened.
