CLEVELAND (WJW) -- A water main break along a major route into the city of Cleveland caused more traffic tie-ups Wednesday morning.

The water main opened up last Thursday on the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway. Nearly a week later, the problem persists, causing traffic back-ups and detours.

For about a week, motorists navigated a strange detour off the exit at W. 45th and then right back onto the Shoreway.

On Wednesday, the Shoreway remained closed with a new detour from Lake Avenue to the W. 45th Street entrance.
