BOARDMAN, Ohio (WKBN) - A local school is starting the year with a donation.

Boardman Subaru delivered a $10,000 check and several boxes of supplies to Glenwood Junior High School on Wednesday morning. The supply kits include pens, pencils, markers and more, and were donated in the school's outdoor classroom.

The donation was made as part of the "Subaru Love Learning" initiative, which partners the business with a local school.

"We bring some essential school supplies for the students, and in addition to that, we donate a $10,000 check to the school they distribute to all the teachers," said Boardman Subaru owner Rob Fellman.
