DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur Family YMCA is launching a new program aimed at helping foster children.

YouthCare will provide free YMCA memberships to eligible foster children and former foster children up to age 21.

Effective immediately, YouthCare participants can access the full range of YMCA programs and facilities.

Through YouthCare, foster youth in Decatur will be able to participate in YMCA activities like fitness programs, swim lessons, summer camp, and wellness classes.
