We've been waiting all offseason for Sunday night. Now, it's finally here.

The first edition of NBC's "Sunday Night Football" in 2025 kicks off on Sept. 7 and continues throughout the 18-week regular season. This season will be extra special, too, with the Super Bowl returning to NBC on Feb. 8, 2026.

When thinking of "Sunday Night Football," you can't help but think of Carrie Underwood's iconic theme song . The Grammy-winner will once again be back on NBC and Peacock this fall . But what can fans expect from this year's "SNF" anthem?
