WILLIAMSTON, N.C. (WITN) - Members of Greenville’s Special Response Team are assisting with a barricaded person at a Williamston hotel.
Greenville police confirmed to WITN they were requested to help with a wanted person who is inside a building.
Video sent to WITN show a large police presence at the OYO Hotel on West Boulevard.
Martin County Sheriff Drew Robinson says that law enforcement is at the hotel right now in that the situation there is contained to that area.
Robinson says that Williamston Police Chief Beth Coltrain will share a media release when appropriate.
