Of course, for many people, they are touring a home that they have already dissected online.

“I always say that the first showing today happens online,” Michael Cancelliere, a real estate agent with Howard Hanna in Pepper Pike, said.

He quickly pointed out though that an online viewing only gives prospective buyers part of the story.

“Online, we can only use sight but being in a home allows us to use all of our senses – what the house smells like, what the lighting is like.” And in doing so, you can get a much better feel for the house.
