LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) – Police are investigating a case of voter fraud reported by the Lancaster County Election Commission.

In a news release on Wednesday, LPD said the election office received four voter registration change-of-party forms.

The forms for four different people were all in the same handwriting as the “known suspect” in the case, according to police.

In early August, the election office got two other forms with that same handwriting, including a change-of-party form for a person who died in 2020.

An investigation is ongoing and charges could be filed, according to police.
