SAN ANTONIO — One of San Antonio's top ramen spots is closing its doors after 10 years in business.
Nama Ramen announced its final call on social media , saying the decision to shutdown was not a "choice made easily or with a light heart." The sushi bar and Japanese ramen restaurant will close at the end of September or until they run out of supplies.
More than 2,200 users reacted to the post with nearly 250 comments and over 2,000 shares.
Nama Ramen opened in 2015, becoming known for their premium noodle dishes and generous sushi rolls. Reviews of Nama Ramen constantly praise their flavorful ramen broth and great atmosphere.
The San Antonio Current and other San Antonio publications named the restaurant as the top ramen spot in the Alamo City for consecutive years.
