STRATFORD, Conn. (WFSB) - A New York woman was arrested after driving 118 MPH on I-95 in Stratford.

At around 1:21 a.m. on September 1st, state police clocked a red Audi A5 driving 118 MPH in a 55 MPH zone on I-95 southbound near exit 33.

State police also say the Audi was driving too closely to the car and front of it and was failing to stay in the correct lane.

The driver, identified as 33-year-old Inga Foksha, of New York, NY, was arrested and charged with reckless driving, reckless endangerment in the second degree, failure to maintain lane, following too closely, and operating a motor vehicle without minimum insurance.

Foksha was later released on a $500 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on October 6th.
