The Office is one of the most re-watched shows around. Re-runs are constantly airing on TV and many people find comfort in streaming the comedy over and over again. (And endlessly quoting it and using reaction GIFs from the series whenever appropriate.) Because of this, the employees at Dunder Mifflin are sort of stuck in the past.
