ASHEVILLE, N.C. (FOX Carolina) - The Asheville Police Department is investigating gun discharges that occurred late Tuesday night in West Asheville.
Officers said they responded to the 30 block of Granada Street to investigate reports of gun discharges around 10:43 p.m. When officers arrived, the suspects were no longer on scene.
While canvassing the area, officers said they located 42 shell casings and damage from the gunshots to three vehicles and one apartment that was occupied at the time. After reviewing surveillance video, officers identified a white Mazda CX-5 or a similar model as a vehicle possibly involved.
Officials said no one was injured.
