DAVENPORT, Iowa (KWQC) - Republican Dillon Fillion announced his candidacy for Iowa House District 81 on Wednesday.

According to a media release, Fillion’s campaign is focused on economic relief, safer communities and policies that put families first.

“Families in HD 81 are struggling with rising costs—from groceries to gas to property taxes,” Fillion said in the release. “The last thing we need is more government interference, making it worse. I will fight to lower taxes, cut wasteful spending, and put more money back in your pocket.”

Fillion said homeownership and law and order are among his top priorities.

Fillion graduated from Bettendorf High School in 2023 before going on to Scott Community College, according to his website.
