Where will our gym and English teacher tie the knot?

That's the question on every Swiftie's mind after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's engagement announcement broke the internet last week. The high-profile couple shared their garden proposal in an Instagram post on Thursday, Aug. 28, after about two years of being public with their relationship.

While they have yet to announce any wedding plans, people are already curious about when and where the big day could take place.

The experts at travel platform Skyscanner looked at the couple's relationship history and Swiftie lore to narrow down potential destinations that could be their wedding locale – and why these places are worthy of a trip all on their own.

Here are some potential wedding destinations for Swift and Kelce, according to Skyscanner.

Providence, Rhode Island

Set atop a bluff overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in Watch Hill, Swift's "Holiday House" is where the singer hosts her famous annual star-studded Fourth of July bash. The Colonial-style mansion even found its way into the "The Last Great American Dynasty" song on her album "Folklore." Rhode Island's beautiful coastal beauty makes it an idyllic choice for the couple's wedding destination.

"Beyond personal connection, Rhode Island shines on its own," said Laura Lindsay, Global Travel Trends Expert at Skyscanner. "Travelers are drawn to its historic lighthouses, Gilded Age mansions in Newport, and over 400 miles of coastline dotted with sandy beaches and rugged cliffs. Add in offbeat museums, thriving art and culinary scenes in Providence, and seasonal highlights like the WaterFire bonfires, and Rhode Island proves that small states can deliver big experiences."

The cheapest time to fly to Providence is in September, according to Skyscanner.

New York City

For the couple, New York City would be a convenient option for their upcoming wedding, given that the city has served as the backdrop for countless date nights ever since the couple was first linked to each other in 2023. The Big Apple is meaningful for Swift, who owns a Tribeca townhouse and even made a historic apartment on Cornelia Street famous.

"New York is the city that never sleeps. It offers iconic backdrops like Central Park, the Empire State Building, and the Brooklyn Bridge," said Lindsay. "Travelers can enjoy world-class dining, Broadway shows, and a thriving arts scene. From luxury hotels to intimate venues tucked inside historic brownstones, the city provides endless possibilities for a wedding, whether grand or understated." Travelers can snag cheap flights to explore New York in September and October.

Big Sky, Montana

Swift and Kelce have previously gone on romantic retreats to Big Sky – even being linked to the highly exclusive, members-only Yellowstone Club – so the couple could pick the luxurious mountain community as a serene wedding destination.

"Big Sky is surrounded by the Rockies, the region offers sweeping alpine views, world-class skiing, and endless outdoor adventures, from hiking to waterfalls like Ousel Falls to stargazing in natural hot springs," Lindsay said. "Just down the road, Bozeman adds small-town charm with craft breweries, farm-to-table dining, boutique shopping, and access to Yellowstone National Park, making Montana a perfect mix of rustic beauty and refined luxury for an unforgettable wedding destination."

October is when travelers can find the most affordable flights, according to Skyscanner.
