GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) - A Wisconsin man accused in a 2024 stabbing in Green Bay is set for a quick trial after requesting one in a Tuesday afternoon court hearing.

Court records show Jaharrie Jelks was in custody while in court via Zoom with his attorney as he pleaded not guilty to all charges. The defense also requested a speedy trial.

The present bond was continued as a final pre-trial hearing was set for 3 p.m. on October 24, with a one-day jury trial on October 29 at 8:30 a.m.
