ORCHARD PARK - The Buffalo Bills are staring at a potentially problematic situation in their defensive backfield for Sunday night’s season opener against the Baltimore Ravens .

Coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that both starting cornerbacks, Christian Benford and Tre’Davious White, are dealing with lower leg injuries and they will likely be listed as questionable for the game.

White got hurt a few days before the preseason finale against Tampa Bay and has not practiced since. Benford’s injury is hard to pinpoint, but he has not been working in the last few sessions and McDermott said he would be “limited” Wednesday.

Reading the tea leaves, it seems like Benford has a better chance to play than White.

If either or both can’t play, the next men up at corner are Ja’Marcus Ingra
