Above / Adult and child actors are invited to audition at the Alfred Rubin Riverwalk Community Center, Sept. 27 and Sept. 28, for the January 2026 production of “Shrek” to be staged at the Naperville Central High School Auditorium.

Magical Starlight Theatre , a Naperville Park District program, is holding auditions for its January 2026 production of “Shrek” on Sat., Sept. 27, and Sun., Sept. 28. Youth actors currently in the fourth grade or higher, as well as adult actors are welcome to audition for lead roles, supporting roles or the ensemble. All actors must prepare a vocal piece from the show, and a monologue from the script. Additionally, auditionees will have to do a dance audition and should be prepared to move after their vocal and script readings.
