EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WEVV)— The University of Evansville (UE) has received a nearly $200,000 planning grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF) to enhance research efforts on campus and throughout the region.

The $195,681 grant from NSF's Office of Integrative Activities will be used over the next two years to develop a Grants Development Office at UE. This office will support faculty research and strengthen ties with community and business partners.

The initiative aims to build collaborative capacity with the City of Evansville, local industries, and strategic partners such as Talent EVV, the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership, and the Applied Research Institute.
