LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A couple of fall-like cold fronts are the big weather story this week. While some precipitation will accompany these boundaries...the autumn-like temperatures they bring will be more noticeable...especially for early-September when our “average” readings are still in the low 80s for highs and upper 50s for lows.
Some spotty precipitation was recorded over parts of eastern Nebraska on Wednesday as front #1 passed thru the region. As a second system swings across the state on Thursday, a bit of a bump-up in temperatures will occur with a warm front...followed by some possible shower-and-thunderstorm development as the trailing cold front sweeps through.
