LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. (WOLO)– A Lexington woman is accused of shooting a man to death Tuesday night at a home in West Columbia, according to deputies.

Deputies were called to a home in the 2700 block of Leaphart Road after a 911 call about a gunshot wound.

While at the scene, a witness told deputies he heard a ‘loud gunshot’ after an argument, says Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon.

Sheriff Koon says the house where the incident took place at was the victim’s house, who was identified as 57-year-old Joel Todd McCullough.

Deputies obtained a search warrant to search the home and found a gun.

McKenzie Leigh Brady, 21, is charged with murder in connection to the shooting, according to an arrest warrant.

“Brady told deputies she and McCullough knew each other for some time,” Koon says.
