HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. (WBTV) - The Board of Commissions for the Town of Huntersville on Tuesday night voted unanimously to increase pay for all sworn officers within the police department.
The Board of Commissioners unanimously voted on Tuesday, Sept. 2, to increase starting pay for all Huntersville police officers from $56,196 to $61,000.
Officials said that all current officers will receive a pay increase of $4,800 and will take effect on Oct. 3.
“This is about more than pay.
