Eagles backup quarterback Tanner McKee (right thumb) has been ruled out for the season opener against the Cowboys on Thursday Night Football.

Sam Howell will be Jalen Hurts’ backup.

McKee is the only player the Eagles ruled out for this game and no other player carries a game status. That means that everyone else on the 53-man roster, including Landon Dickerson (back) and Drew Mukuba (hamstring), are good to go in Week 1.

On Wednesday’s estimated injury report, Dickerson (back), Mukuba (hamstring), Jalen Carter (shoulder) and Josh Uche (groin) were all listed as full participants.
