LEXINGTON COUNTY, S.C. — A Lexington woman is accused of shooting a man to death Tuesday night at a home in West Columbia.

McKenzie Leigh Brady, 21, is charged with murder, according to an arrest warrant.

The victim has been identified as 57-year-old Joel Todd McCullough, according to Lexington County Coroner Margaret Fisher.

“Deputies went to the scene, which is McCullough‘s home, in the 2700 block of Leaphart Road after a 911 call about a gunshot wound,” Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon said. “A witness told deputies he heard a ‘loud gunshot’ after an argument.”

Deputies say they obtained a search warrant to search the residence and found a gun, according to Koon.
