The state of Indiana continues to rank among the financially best-managed states in the country.
All three major credit-rating agencies — S&P Global Ratings, Moody’s Investors Service and Fitch Ratings — recently affirmed Indiana's highest-possible "AAA" credit rating, based in part on the state's disciplined fiscal management, economic resilience and long-term financial stability.
Records show only 14 of the 50 states have a triple-A rating from all three agencies. Indiana has enjoyed its top credit rating without interruption since 2010 .
