AUGUSTA, Ga. (WRDW/WAGT) - We have an update to a 12 On Your Side investigation we’ve been digging into for more than a decade.

There’s been a loophole, where some military families have been forced to stay silent about dangerous military housing.

For almost 15 years now, we’ve been exposing problems like mold, electrical and gas issues, some so serious — it made some families sick.

Our investigation started because some of those families were brave enough to come to us all those years ago.

However, the private company in charge of military housing at Fort Gordon, and more than 50 other military installations, started having families sign non-disclosure agreements.
