Ruth Mathis Sadakne, age 88, of Morristown, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2025.

She was a member of Manley Baptist Church. She loved gardening, her roses, working in her flower garden, and compiling old family photos. Ruth was a devoted and loving mother and will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of forty eight years, George Sadakne; parents, Edgar and Bessie Mathis; brothers, Leonard, Tony, and Bob Mathis; and sisters, Imogene Hill, Georgia Davis, Maxine Reed, Linda Mathis, and Betty Lane.

She is survived by her daughters, Tamara “Tammy” Sadakne Foster (Michael) and Amera “Lani” Helani Sadakne; sister, Geneva Waddell; and several nieces and nephews.
