LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE) - A home and two businesses were raided in New Albany on Wednesday in a joint investigation by the New Albany Police Department and Indiana State Police.

According to NAPD Chief Todd Bailey, the three search warrants executed on Wednesday, September 3, were for Cloverleaf Bar and Grill, North Star Tattoo Co., and an undisclosed residential address.

Chief Bailey stated that these warrants were in relation to an ongoing investigation, but did not specify the nature of the case.

The chief also debunked rumors about the warrants.

"False information has been circulating online stating these warrants were related to US Immigration and Customs (ICE) investigations," Bailey said. “This is not correct, and in no way are these searches related to immigration."
