CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - An Akron man and leader of a drug trafficking conspiracy was sentenced to 35 years in federal prison for conspiring to traffic methamphetamine, fentanyl, and other illegal substances throughout Northeast Ohio.

U.S. District Judge Donald C. Nugent sentenced Terrance D.N. McCormick, aka TNasty, 41, to 35 years after pleading guilty in May.

McCormick pleaded guilty to the following charges:

Conspiracy to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute methamphetamine and fentanyl.

Possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.

Felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition; previous convictions for aggravated burglary in 2003; domestic violence in 2009 and 2013; and aggravated trafficking in drugs in 2018.
