WASHINGTON — Strong opinions from both sides of the aisle on Capitol Hill on Wednesday as Congress is back in session.
D.C. Delegate Eleanor Holmes Norton, who made her first public appearance since the federal surge started, says President Trump is trying to exercise his power at the expense of people who work and live in DC.
"President Trump has used D.C. residents as props in a political play to showcase his own power," she explained.
D.C.'s longest serving delegate calling the President's order to keep federal troops in the District a threat to public safety.
