ALTADENA, Calif. (KABC) -- The Altadena Town and Country Club is welcoming members back eight months after the devastating Eaton Fire .
The country club recently hosted a grand re-opening celebration, welcoming hundreds of people to its hospitality area, which offers a place for families to relax and have fun.
The historic club house, which once hosted proms, weddings and community events, was one of the thousands of structures that were destroyed by the Eaton Fire.
"This club really is the centerpiece of Altadena because while it's a private club, they would open up their doors to nonprofits and hold fundraisers," said Los Angeles County Supervisor Katheryn Barger.
For many members who are still displaced by the fires, the reopening offers a place to reconnect with friends and ne
