PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- Philadelphia police are investigating at least three diversion-style burglaries targeting older residents, where suspects posed as contractors or utility workers to steal cash, jewelry, and other valuables.
Authorities say the suspects struck on July 9 on the 2000 block of Tomlinson Road, Aug. 12 on the 4300 block of Deer Path Lane, and Aug. 20 on the 3000 block of Vista Street.
Investigators believe the suspects targeted homes without security cameras, though a nearby surveillance camera captured one of the suspects allegedly involved.
"They're our most vulnerable people, and we all need as a community to look after them," said Captain Jack Ryan.
