WASHINGTON – The Senate Finance Committee is set to question Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. about his “Make America Healthy Again” plan. The committee, chaired by Senator Mike Crapo from Idaho, will convene on Thursday.

Senior Republican leadership on the committee includes Senator Steve Daines of Montana and Senator John Barrasso of Wyoming. Additionally, Senator Maria Cantwell, who is part of the committee, is expected to directly question Secretary Kennedy.

This session comes amid recent measles cases in Spokane and North Idaho. Secretary Kennedy has previously reversed course on several vaccine policies, with a notable history of being hesitant on measles.
