ANACONDA - The suspect in a mass shooting that occurred on Aug. 1 at an Anaconda bar entered not guilty pleas in district court on Wednesday in connection with the shooting that took the lives of four people.
Appearing before Judge Jeffery Dahood via Zoom from the Butte jail, 45-year-old Michael Brown pleaded not guilty to six felony charges, including deliberate homicide, attempted arson, theft, and a misdemeanor charge of fleeing from police.

"That's the most horrible, horrible thing. He should have just pled guilty. He's on film," said Diane Earles, a friend of the bartender who was killed.
After court, she gathered in f
