Benjamin Sesko has opened up on his early struggles at Manchester United having not started a single Premier League game since arriving at Old Trafford.
The Slovenia international joined Ruben Amorim’s side in a £74million deal after a summer where Arsenal and Newcastle United also explored a move.
After training with his new teammates for the first time just days before the start of the new season, Sesko started on the bench against Arsenal, coming on for the final 25 minutes.
He settled for a bench role again a week later against Fulham with Mason Mount again preferred by Amorim as part of an attacking front three alongside Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo. The striker got 37 minutes under his belt at Craven Cottage.
