Current and former HHS employees accuse the Secretary of endangering public health and undermining science-based policy, citing the recent attack on the CDC.

A growing number of U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) workers are calling for the immediate resignation of Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. A letter initially sent to the Secretary on August 20th by over 750 current and former employees now has more than 6,370 signatories, including 887 from within HHS itself.

The signatories, who represent a wide range of HHS agencies including the CDC , FDA , and NIH , accuse Kennedy of endangering public health by spreading inaccurate information and undermining the scientific integrity of the nation’s health agencies.
