WALKER, Mich. — The Kent County Sheriff's Office (KCSO) released video on Wednesday of a car striking a deputy's cruiser.
"Reckless driving and rain don't mix," KCSO said in a post.
The sheriff's office said the driver of the vehicle lost control and struck multiple vehicles. It was one of those vehicles that was then sent into a collision with the deputy's cruiser.
KCSO said the deputy sustained minor injuries in the collision, but nobody else was hurt.
Even though nobody was seriously injured, the incident serves as a reminder to practice safe driving.
"Please slow down and drive responsibly, especially when roads are wet," said KCSO.
