(NewsNation) — An independent journalist says he was kicked out of a news conference for trying to ask a question during a gathering of dozens of survivors of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and lawmakers on Capitol Hill.

Michael Tracey, who wrote The Idiocy of the Epstein Mythology, told "On Balance" he feels that the case lawyers, politicians and alleged victims of Epstein (adjudicated or not) are "unaccustomed to ever being asked even a mildly critical question.

"They go absolutely berserk when somebody such as myself attempts to do so," Tracey says about their reaction.

"And then they launch into a mob and want me thrown out. Marjorie Taylor Greene was calling for me to be thrown out."

Gathering called for DOJ to release all Epstein files
