It’s somewhat unfamiliar territory for the Manchester Greyhounds football program. For the first time since 2015, the varsity Hounds are 2-=0 to begin the season, under the guidance of head coach Justin Schmitz. After blanking Fayetteville at home 12-0 in their opener, the Greyhounds went on the road last Friday night and picked up their second victory, a convincing win over the New Miami Vikings.
Manchester made an early statement on Friday at New Miami, taking a 16-0 lead after the first quarter. The Scoring began when Greyhounds quarterback Amiilion Brown fired a touchdown pass to tight end Dylon Fite. The two-point conversion run by Levi Hargis made it 8-0.
