South Park took aim at President Donald Trump’s sweeping global tariffs this week — in the form of some cuuuuute Labubu dolls.

The girls at school are crazy about the trendy dolls, even getting into fist fights if someone dares to accuse them of having a fake Labubu (or “Lafufu,” for the uninitiated). Butters gets a surprise invite to a birthday party for a girl named Red, and she has a very specific gift request: a rare Labubu. Butters goes to the Asian pop-up store — which is actually the old City Wok — and he learns that he needs to buy a mystery box, not knowing what Labubu is inside. Plus, the box is $85, because of tariffs. (“You think I pay tariff?” the City Wok owner laughs. “No no no, you pay tariff!”) Butters buys one… but it’s not the right Labubu inside. Aw, hamburgers.
