A Paducah man has been arrested following an assault investigation.
According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called to the 7000 block of Noble Road for a welfare check.
At the scene, they found a man walking on the road covered with blood, appearing to have been assaulted.
The man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Detectives then learned that the victim had met with a man, later identified as 18-year-old Corban Koster.
During their interaction, Koster allegedly began to beat the victim with a ratchet, took his belongings, and forced him into the trunk of Koster's vehicle against his will, before driving to the Noble Road area and leaving him.
Koster was located on Tuesday at a home in the 6000 block of Greenfield Drive, where he was taken into cust
